Alphabet’s Market Cap Rockets Past USD3T

(MENAFN) On Monday, Alphabet’s market valuation jumped over 3%, pushing its market capitalization beyond the $3 trillion milestone.

The parent company of Google saw its stock price reach $248.06 at 1510 GMT, with intraday trading peaking near $252.

Over the past year, Alphabet’s share price fluctuated between a low of $140.53 and a high of $252.41.

With this surge, Alphabet secured the position as the fourth most valuable company globally, trailing only Nvidia, Microsoft, and Apple.

Shares climbed earlier in September following a U.S. federal court decision that ruled Alphabet is not obligated to sell its Chrome browser in the ongoing antitrust case targeting Google.
